As 2014 nears its end, we’ve taken a look back at some of the year’s most memorable celebrity makeovers that inspired us to be edgy again.

Most models wouldn’t dare cut their hair into a distinct look. Coco Rocha updated her blunt bob with straight cut bangs. This cut transformed her look into a modern flapper beauty.

This 29-year old, new mom cut off her wispy locks for a short pixie. This low maintenance golden-blonde haircut can be extra bold with a dark smokey eye.

This natural brunette went from beach blonde to hollywood glam for the Oscars this year. We also love that Margot is rocking the new dark lip trend shown here in velvet purple lips.

We loved Kristen’s long ruby red locks but we’re going crazy for her asymmetrical orange crop.

Of all the blunt cuts this year, Emma Stone’s hair got a soft update for the Venice Film Festival wear she sported a sexy amber colored bob.
